REVIEW | NAKED 2 BASICS

A few weeks ago I got my hands on the new Naked 2 Basics palette from Sephora.

I have all of the previous Naked palettes, so I was excited for the newest addition to the series. The Naked Basics wasn't my favorite (although I do love Faint for filling in brows, and Venus as an eyebrow bone highlight) I like this palette a lot more.

The colors are a lot cooler than the original palette, so that's perfect for fall, right? Plus, these matte shades go on like buttah.

The packaging is nearly identical to the original Naked Basics (sturdy and smooth.) The mirror inside is awesome because it's so big and makes it perfect for travel or throwing in your purse. Plus, this is sturdy. If you're anything like me and bring makeup with you (and aren't exactly easy on your belongings) then OH BOY, IS THIS THE PALETTE FOR YOU.

Cover (third from right) is perfect for blending in the crease, but looks good all over the lid, too. Undone is great as a defining shade in the outer corner and adds drama and definition.

Urban Decay is easily my favorite brand when it comes to eyeshadows.

This palette is well worth the $29 if you like matte shades. I'm more of a shimmer girl, but after this palette, consider me converted.

10/10; would recommend.

Have you tried the Naked 2 Basics palette? How do you feel about it?

xo,
allie
